The Baekho Delivery Rider App is a delivery agency service utilizing smartphones.

It provides a service where an agency driver, having received an order via the app, uses the corresponding order information and location to pick up items from a store or the place of request, travels to the destination, and delivers the goods.

📱 Rider App Service Access Permission Guide

The Rider App requires the following access permissions to provide its services.

📷 [Required] Camera Permission

Purpose: Required to take photos and upload them to the server when performing services, such as taking photos of completed deliveries or transmitting electronic signature images.

🗂️ [Required] Storage Permission

Purpose: Required to allow selecting photos from the gallery to upload completed delivery photos and signature images to the server.

※ On Android 13 and above, this is replaced by the Photo & Video Selection permission.

📞 [Required] Phone Permission

Purpose: Required to call customers and merchants to provide delivery status updates or respond to inquiries.

📍 [Required] Precise Location & Background Location Permissions

Location information is required to perform delivery services, such as delivering dispatch requests, sharing real-time progress, and providing arrival notifications based on the rider's location while on duty. Location information is **collected in real-time only when the app is running and the rider is in a working state**, and is used with the user's explicit consent.

🛡️ [Required] Foreground Location Service Permissions

We use the **FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION permission** to reliably provide real-time location-based functions (dispatch requests, progress sharing, arrival notifications, etc.) even when the screen is off or the rider is using other apps while on duty. This permission is activated only after obtaining the rider's **explicit consent**, and its purpose and usage are explained through the in-app UI.
