❓ "What's the difference between Richter and Power Bender?"
Richter is the standard tuning on most diatonic harmonicas. Power Bender (and other alternative tunings like Paddy Richter, Country, Natural Minor) rearrange notes to make certain bend or chord patterns easier. Try them in the in-app tuning menu.

❓ "Does it work without internet?"
Yes — once installed, no internet is needed. The tuner runs entirely on your device.

❓ "What permissions does it need?"
Microphone access only. Audio is processed locally and never uploaded.

Excellent app! I would give it 5 stars except for two minor issues: 1. It only has one orientation for the screen. I'd like to be able to turn my phone and have the app detect that and not be upside down. 2. A dark mode would be great. Still, those are very minor issues and the app is great otherwise. I wouldn't even mind a small banner ad along the bottom to help support the developer.

Great for practising bends on the go! No ads, no nonsense permissions, just a great app with all the features I need. Different tunings, sample sounds when you touch a note, you name it. This app is my valuable companion on the road to nice sounding whole step draw bends on the second hole!

Low D Richter, bp tuning, hole 1 - blow (D note) is not working. I downloaded it today 4/13/2026. ...I am not sure what bp tuning is an abreviation for (blues p___, comprised?) . please explain.
