About this app

Postal Vote BD is the official mobile application developed by the Bangladesh Election Commission to enroll voters and track ballot papers only at home and abroad. However, voters will exercise their voting by manually casting vote in a postal ballot paper sent by postal services. Voters will send this ballot paper by postal service to concerned electoral official(s) in Bangladesh. This secure and verified platform enables eligible voters to exercise their democratic rights conveniently from anywhere.

CURRENT FEATURES:
- Enrollment & Registration
Start enrollment directly from the app. Simply provide registered mobile number to create a secure profile.

- Voter Enrollment:
Complete verification through a secure eKYC process, followed by a facial verification with liveness detection to confirm voter identity. User can also provide passport details (optional) and postal address for receive postal ballot.

- Ballot Tracking:
Once voters are registered and verified, a ballot is prepared and sent to your registered postal address(obtained during enrolment process). Voter can track the delivery status of ballot within the app to ensure safe and timely arrival.

- Ballot Return and Verification:
After receiving a ballot, simply scan the QR code printed on the enve using the app. Complete a quick liveness check, cast a vote on the paper ballot, and return the envelope to voter designated constituency for official processing.

- Notifications & Reminders
Receive timely alerts about deadlines, application status, and important updates.

- Multi-language Support
Available in both Bangla and English for convenience of voters.

- A valid passport (Optional)

- Other eligible voters as per Bangladesh Election Commission guidelines

Postal Vote BD হলো বাংলাদেশ নির্বাচন কমিশন কর্তৃক তৈরিকৃত একটি মোবাইল অ্যাপ, যা দেশ ও বিদেশে অবস্থানরত বাংলাদেশী ভোটারদের ডাকযোগে ভোটার হিসেবে নিবন্ধন করতে এবং ব্যালট পেপারের ট্র্যাকিং করতে সহায়তা করে।

এই অ্যাপটির মাধ্যমে নিবন্ধিত ও বৈধ ভোটাররা যেকোনো স্থান থেকে সহজে ও নিরাপদে তাদের গণতান্ত্রিক অধিকার প্রয়োগ করতে পারবেন।

Ratings and reviews

This is so frustrating to use!!! It never works on 1st try or even 9th. I've got "mobile number or password incorrect" so many times. Then when I go for reset password, they are never able to send OTP. Please do something about this? I've called support before and they were no help. Honestly, so frustrating.

Update: I've successfully made it through. I contacted the commission and they asked me to try after 48 hours as their server maintenance was going on. Now everything is pretty smooth. Thanks. I have tried to register with my phone number millions of times from the UAE. I contacted the support team twice and followed their instructions exactly, but I am still not receiving any OTP. If you are creating something, please do it professionally. Otherwise, please do not waste our time. Thank you.

Very bad, I received the valot. when i going to scan there is no scanning option.over there when i try to login show my password is incorrect. After that try to reset password, it says "failed to send otp to the recipient number, please try again later". not for a single time it’s showing multiple time and days also. i don’t know how govt maintains this app. i am concerned about those developers who build this.
