The app allows you to select photos, videos and files from your mobile device and upload them to a Windows 10,11.. computer over WiFi. The computer must run the Windows SyncFolder app.
In addition it also comes with a integrated secure file server that allows an external Windows computer that runs the Windows SyncFolder app to both upload and download files.
No need to use a USB cable and the app is completely free and without advertisements!
Except for the shared files the app has no access to personal data.
The app works together with the Windows 10,11..SyncFolder app. This is a free app for scheduling backup tasks on a Windows computer. You have to install this app as well.
Communication between the mobile device and the computer is fully encrypted with authentication tokens and SSL/TLS.
Upload is simple: On your mobile device you can browse any of the folders where your photos, videos and other files are stored and then simply select the items to upload. Before export takes place you have the option to select the target folder on your computer where you want to save the selected files. If you want you can even create new target folders.
Upload and download using the Mobile Sync file server is also easy: you must provide a username and password and assign 1 or more folders you want to make accessible. You can then setup a task in the Syncfolder app on the Windows computer to sync files.
