You receive a quote for renovations. The amounts are there, the items are listed, but you have no idea if the prices are in line with the market.
BelHabitat DevisCheck reads the quote and compares it, line by line, to Belgian price benchmarks.
WHAT YOU GET
A clear, itemized report. For each line: the quoted price, the market range, and where you stand within it. You can see at a glance what's consistent and what warrants further investigation.
A VAT rate check. In Belgium, renovating a property over ten years old often qualifies for the reduced rate of 6 percent. DevisCheck compares the applied rate to these conditions and calculates the potential difference, without making the decision for you when the quote doesn't provide complete information.
The legally required information on a Belgian quote, and which information is missing.
A company profile: VAT number, verification in the European VIES register.
Points to clarify, written down and quantified, ready to be emailed to the company. Questions, not complaints.
JUST TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH
A quote arrives in the mail or is signed on the fly. The app's camera captures it on the spot, corrects the framing, and starts the analysis. A PDF also works.
WHAT WE SAY WHEN WE DON'T KNOW
No verdict is fabricated. When a quote doesn't have comparable data, the app states this instead of generating a plausible price range. Each analysis indicates how many comparable examples it is based on.
YOUR DOCUMENTS
The submitted quote is stored in a private space, accessible only to you. It is deleted from our servers 90 days after the analysis, while the report remains available in your account. You can delete your account and data from within the app.
