EBSH Tower is a specialized application designed for (para)glider pilots to get information from EBSH Tower commandants operating at Saint-Hubert aerodrome (EBSH) in Belgium.
After registration and getting access on the server side, EBSH Tower provides real-time information about the status of gliding zones in Belgium. When a zone is activated, modified, or deactivated, authorized users receive instant push notifications directly on their device, ensuring everyone in the operation has the same up-to-date information.
For specific GAA users, commandants can also send messages to the flying pilots to communicate important information. The message can require or not a confirmation so that the commandant know if the pilots have received the message.
Instant push notifications — the app alerts immediately when airspace status changes, even when the app is in the background.
Message confirmation system — For GAA operations, pilots can confirm receipt of critical airspace messages directly from the app.
OGN traffic display — View live glider traffic in the area using the Open Glider Network.
Position sharing — When a message with confirmation is sent, the app also sends GPS position with the Saint-Hubert tower controllers to improve situational awareness, together with the confirmation.
WHO IS THIS APP FOR
This app is intended exclusively for authorized users operating in Belgium.
Zones status is available for all registered users, authorised by the federation.
Access to full functionality requires prior authorization from the federation after succeeding the GAA exam.
To request access, register your full name in the app settings and contact your federation representative.
