Loriot connects tenants and owners of social housing in Wallonia with their advisory committee—the CCLP, the elected body that represents them to their housing association.
YOU NEED A BUILDING NUMBER
Loriot only works if your committee has the necessary equipment. The six-digit number is displayed in your building's lobby or was sent to you by your committee. Without it, the application cannot show you anything: each committee has its own dedicated space, and the number is what leads you to yours.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Read information from your committee—announced work, meeting minutes, procedures to be aware of, answers to questions others have already asked.
• Be notified when something new concerns you, if you wish.
• Write to your committee: describe what you observe, attach photos, and track their actions. You can see if your message has been read, if it has received a reply, or if it has been forwarded to your housing association.
WHAT LORIOT IS NOT
This is not an emergency service. For gas leaks, fires, leaks, or if someone is trapped in an elevator: call the emergency services. The numbers to call are listed in the app, accessible directly, and the general emergency number in Belgium is 112.
An advisory committee is made up of elected volunteers. They read messages when they can, and no response time is guaranteed. Writing here does not replace the steps you may need to take directly with your housing association.
YOUR DATA
Reading messages requires nothing: no account, no password, no registration. You are not assigned any login details as long as you simply view the messages.
Your mobile number is only confirmed by SMS when you start writing, so your committee knows a message is coming from a real, reachable person, and so you can access your conversations later.
Your committee is responsible for your data. Your housing association doesn't have access to what you write to them—they only receive a message if the committee decides to forward it, and you are notified of this.
Loriot doesn't track your location, doesn't display any ads, and doesn't use any audience measurement tools. You can delete all your data from the app in just two steps, without having to ask anyone.
App available in French.
