This app is part of a scientific study from Ghent University investigating a person's cognitive capacity.
Developed by researchers of IDLab (UGent - imec), the app passively collects smartphone usage data and actively monitors daily mood, pain and fatigue symptoms fluctuations through surveys to better understand patterns related to cognitive function and its interplay with other symptoms.
The app securely gathers the following anonymized smartphone usage metrics: typing dynamics (timestamps of keystroke presses only), application usage, interaction with notifications, screen activity and sleep patterns.
The short questionnaires participants need to complete daily for symptoms rating is based on a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) for precision and ease.
All data is collected for research purposes only and handled in accordance with ethical and privacy standards.
Participants must be enrolled in the study to use the app.
This app is not intended for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
To monitor application usage and typing dynamics, this app uses an Accessibility Service. You can refuse this at any point in time, cancel your participation or request to remove your data.
