beamAssist is a patented, one-touch, 3-button, color-coded mobile app specifically designed for individual urgent response and emergency status and is available on Android and iOS. It allows users to share vital information including location with designated contacts and/or public safety dispatch centers in just seconds. It can easily be configured for communities/groups to use among friends and family members or for professional use within an organization.

The color-coded, 3-buttons (green, amber and red) represent equivalent levels of emergency, allowing users to share location, audio, video, and user bio in real-time (seconds not minutes). Additionally, one can opt in to share vital data through health sensors.

Each button can be configured to share the following from any smartphone: GPS, microphone, speaker, camera, mute phone, text to 911 or other designated numbers. The text includes a live link broadcasting GPS, audio and video live.

beamAssist represents Beam’s Unified Communication of Things as a Service (UCTaaS) with heightened capabilities including text, audio/video, sub-second GPS connectivity, push-to-talk and SOS.

Administrators can configure the app for organization-wide use. Users can only register through an approved organization, community or agency through an Admin portal and can share encrypted and geo-tagged IoT content and media, as well as real-time collaboration with experts, citizens and PSAPs.

beamAssist unique features include:

• It provides GPS sub-second latency tracking and navigation;

• beamAssist connects to Computer-aided Dispatching (CAD) including 911 CAD and offers connectivity between an Emergency Dispatch/Command and Control Center and their specific mobile workforce;

• It offers responders a single button, one touch feature that records all actions from start to the end of any emergency/incident/event. In the case of law enforcement or public safety, this capability is an essential element;

• beamAssist also adds value by integration Artificial Intelligence (AI) on GCP cloud and Edge that provides users with enhanced threat awareness, historical data, situational awareness and real-time, multimedia, mobile communication.
