When scanning the barcode on any package in the app, you get detailed information about the material of the given package, respectively, and whether it can be disposed of in one of the colored containers - or, if possible, in which one.
If the barcode is not part of our database, it can easily be added by the user. The barcode from the package must be scanned, after which the desire to add it to the already existing list is confirmed in the system - product name, material and photo of the package are entered.
LOCATING & ALARMING
To further benefit its users, the application uses the location of the device from which it is used to calculate where the nearest Eco Partners container can be found in the municipalities served by the organization. In addition to this, it is also quite easy to report already located containers.
RULES
Increased awareness is at the heart of the app, that's why a short educational guide is also available for each user to remind what can and can't be thrown in the colored containers; what steps to take before disposing of the given packaging and where.
