About this app

bing bong is allows you to send personal sound notifications to your friends.

Press a button on your phone. A sound plays on theirs.

— What you can do —

Build groups (bongs) with the people you talk to most. Each group has its own collection of sound buttons (bings). Tap one, and everyone else in the group hears it on their phone as a notification.

Record sounds directly in the app, or upload your own MP3s. Give each one a label, an emoji, and a colour. Your soundboard, your way.

— Who it's for —

- Long-distance couples — record yourself saying "I love you" or "good morning" and send it whenever you're thinking of them.

- Tight friend groups — build a soundboard of your inside jokes, meme sounds, and reaction clips. Bing the chat with the Vine boom.

- Families — share a "dinner's ready" alert, a birthday song, or any sound that makes someone smile.

- D&D and tabletop groups — dramatic stings, dice rolls, monster sounds, victory fanfares, all accessible to the whole table.

- Group chats in general — anywhere people communicate regularly, bing bong adds a playful audio layer that text doesn't have.

Even on your own, bing bong works as a personal soundboard. Useful as a fidget toy, for streaming, or just for fun.

— How it works —

- Tap a button to preview a sound (plays only on your phone)
- Hold to send (plays on every other group member's phone)
- Mute whole groups or individual sounds whenever you want
- Respects your phone's Do Not Disturb settings, so nothing wakes you at 3am
- Rate-limited to one bing every 5 seconds, so nobody gets spammed
