About this app

Auris Sound Meter is a professional sound level meter for your phone. Open it and see how loud the room, the street or the concert really is — in decibels, on a live analog gauge.

WHY AURIS
Most apps show one jumping number. Auris Sound Meter works like a real meter: frequency weightings A, C and Z, time weightings Fast, Slow and Impulse, equivalent level Leq, peak, peak frequency and a NIOSH noise dose. Color zones tell you when it is safe, caution, harmful or dangerous.

WHO IT IS FOR
Neighbors and renovation — measure the apartment and compare night with day.
Sleep and kids — check the bedroom, the nursery, a stroller outside.
Office and coworking — see why it is hard to focus.
Studio, rehearsal, concert — compare a quiet stage with the peaks.
Hearing care — a gentle vibration at 85 and 100 dB.

ABOUT ACCURACY
Auris Sound Meter uses IEC 61672 time constants and A/C/Z curves. A phone microphone is not a Class 1 instrument. Use readings for guidance, comparison and hearing awareness — not for legal proof or occupational certification. Calibrate against a reference meter if you have one.

Audio is processed on the device for the measurement. This app may show ads.

Auris Sound Meter is a pocket sound level meter. It does not replace a laboratory or certified instrument.
Measure noise in dB: live gauge, Leq, A/C/Z, history and calibration.
