Excellent study structure for memorizing characters. Several problems: if you pause a study for an hour or two, there's a random chance your progress from the day gets wiped out; several definitions that are wrong; example sentences that have only a superficial connection to the vocabulary word (e.g. a sentence about Bill to exemplify the use of "bi") ; and an often very loud ad nearly every time I pause and resume.

A bundle of bugs. Font of Chinese characters changes without reason from print to something like script handwriting. Sound disappears, returns and disappears again. Chinese characters are so small that the detail of strokes is hard to see (while leaving 95% of the screen empty and black). The only good thing is the availability of all HSK characters.

I'm a beginner and this app is amazing. I was making my own flash cards until I found this app. What I love is the hard and easy categories you can put the flash cards in. So you can focus in on the ones that are difficult. It gives you the pronunciation of the words as well as example sentences. I also love the quizzes to test how well you know each word. The ads are not intrusive at all like many other free apps. I'm very happy with this app.
