About this app

Document Viewer Pro opens Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and text files in one app. Email attachments, downloads, old .doc/.xls/.ppt files and password-protected documents open with a tap. Everything happens on your phone, and your documents are never sent to a server. Opening, reading, searching, copying, sharing and printing are free, with no limits.

■ Supported formats
• Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, both new (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) and old (.doc, .xls, .ppt)
• PDF, OpenDocument, RTF and EPUB
• Text, CSV, Markdown, JSON, HTML and about 50 kinds of source code
Files with a wrong or missing extension are recognized by their content, and text encodings are detected automatically.

■ Word
• An outline built from headings lets you jump to any section.
• Tables, numbered lists, footnotes, images and charts are shown as in the original.
• Reopens where you stopped reading.

■ Excel
• Switch sheets from the tabs at the bottom.
• Frozen panes are kept; row numbers and column letters stay visible while you scroll.
• Merged cells, borders, colors and number formats are reproduced, so dates never appear as numbers like 46290.
• Tap a cell to see and copy its formula and value.
• Search across all sheets and jump to each match.

■ PowerPoint
• Full-screen slideshow: tap the sides of the screen or press the volume keys to change slides.
• Show speaker notes and jump to any slide from the slide list.
• Backgrounds, tables, charts and SmartArt are reproduced.

■ PDF
• Pinch or double-tap to zoom, and scroll or swipe through pages.
• Search, page thumbnails, bookmarks and "continue where you left off".

■ Easier reading
• Find in document, night and sepia colors, and text size from 60% to 250%.
• Copy, share, print and home screen shortcuts.

■ Find your files
• The home screen counts your PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.
• Recent files, favorites, search, filters and sorting.
• "Open from device" also reaches Google Drive and other storage providers.

■ Free PDF tools
• Photos to PDF with no page limit and no watermark: reorder, rotate, crop, color modes, paper sizes and 2 or 4 photos per page.
• Document scanner that detects page edges and straightens tilted paper.
• Merge, split and organize pages (reorder, delete, rotate, duplicate).
• Compress: only images are re-encoded, so text stays sharp.
• Convert PDF to images or text, and extract embedded images.

■ Privacy
• Reading, display and conversion happen on your device; document contents are never uploaded.
• Scripts in documents don't run, macros are never executed, and passwords are not stored.
• Office files are never modified. Edited PDFs are saved as new files, and the original stays untouched.
• No account required.

■ About "All files access"
Used to list your documents by type and for full-text search. It is optional: without it, any document still opens with "Open from device" or "Open with".

■ Notes
• Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents are view-only.
• Excel formulas are not recalculated; the values saved in the file are shown.
