Aurora: Pets Perdidos e Adoção

About this app

Lost your dog or cat? Post it in minutes and alert your neighbors instantly. Anyone within 10 km will receive an alert and can help with the search.

Found a pet on the street? Post it too. Aurora connects you with the owner without you having to expose your phone number: all conversations happen through a secure chat within the app.

And when a pet has nowhere to go back to, Aurora is also about **responsible adoption**: animal profiles, screening, and owner approval before any contact.

**What you can do on Aurora:**

• Post a lost pet with photos and location
• Notify those nearby with proximity alerts (10 km)

• Register a pet you found on the street

• Chat securely through the internal chat, without exposing your phone number

• Adopt responsibly, with screening and owner approval

• Receive notifications when a lost pet appears in your area

Aurora is **100% free** and made for the community. It was born in Paraty, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro, with a simple purpose: no lost pet should be left without someone to look for it.

Download, activate alerts for your region, and be a part of it.
