About this game

A solitaire roguelike. Sit down, play a run of twenty to forty minutes, and either topple the whole court or lose everything and start again.

THE RUN
Four suits stand between you and the throne. Each one holds a court: a Jack at a small table, a Queen at a big one, and a King as the boss. Every table is a classic solitaire with a challenge to meet and a cut rule that bends it. Fail the challenge and the run is over, right there. No lives, no second chances.

Topple the four Kings and you enter the interregnum, the vacuum of the throne, where two Jokers wait with their rules hidden until you sit. The last of them is King Nobody, and his table is the two-deck patience that gives the game its name.

TWENTY SOLITAIRES
Klondike, FreeCell, Spider, Spiderette, TriPeaks, Golf, Pyramid, Aces Up, Yukon, Canfield, Eagle Wing, Baroness, Eight Off, Bristol, Baker's Dozen, Beleaguered Castle, Calculation and Betsy Ross in the draw; Forty Thieves as the rare King's table; and Interregnum itself, the two-deck patience of the last Joker. Each run draws a different hand of them, so no two runs play alike.

FOUR SUITS, FOUR WAYS TO LOSE
Spades cut: a tighter limit, a foundation that costs you, and the Clock. Hearts drown: cards sink as time goes by. Diamonds charge: a toll on every favor, interest on the stock, a crooked foundation. Clubs hide: mist over the cards and columns that move.

FAVORS
Between tables, King Nobody opens his booth. He sells you the favors that break the court's rules, because he wants the throne empty for himself. Every rule has its counter; finding it is the game. Nothing you buy survives the run. There is no permanent upgrade, no talent tree, no currency to grind: what you build dies with you.

ALSO AT THE TABLE
• A Daily run, the same deal for everyone, once a day.
• Custom runs you set up yourself, with a seed you can share with a friend.
• A Collection of fourteen feats, mirrored as Google Play Games achievements.
• Tap to pick up, tap to place. Drag if you prefer. Made for one hand on a phone and for the whole table on a tablet or Chromebook.
• Larger cards, four-color suits and a left-handed layout in the options.
