The SAU App - Health Application, was created through a research project developed at the Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA (https://unipampa.edu.br/portal/), by a team of professors in the areas of Medicine, Nursing , Engineering, Psychology and Biology and medical students.
Purpose of the SAU App:
Present information about the health services of the municipalities of Barra do Quaraí, Itaqui and Uruguaiana - Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to many important contents, such as health campaigns and information about COVID-19.
The information in the SAU App includes aspects such as address, opening hours, contact and what is offered in each of the health services in each municipality. It is also possible to see on the map where each of these services is located, as well as the health campaigns, and there is even a specific space for children! In addition, there is an exclusive menu to guide foreign tourists, with information in Spanish and English.
Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the SAU App is full of explanations and tips about the new coronavirus and COVID-19, such as: what it is; what are the symptoms; how to prevent; how transmission occurs; how to wear a mask the right way; how to wash your hands with soap and water or sanitize them with gel alcohol effectively; how to cough or sneeze to avoid transmitting the virus; and much more!
