The Brazilian Symposium on Electrochemistry and Electroanalysis (SIBEE) is a biennial event and is the most important national forum for discussing the advances and challenges of electrochemistry and electroanalysis and for the dissemination of scientific and technological results. The main objective of this event is to bring together researchers and students from Brazilian universities and research centers with professionals who work in the various industrial sectors to exchange knowledge and experiences, aiming to contribute to the scientific, technological, economic and social development of the country. SIBEE also enables the exchange of experiences between Brazilian and international scientific communities. Thus, foreign researchers who are exponents in their respective areas of activity, are traditionally invited to participate in SIBEE. In this way, SIBEE has provided an excellent opportunity for the dissemination of scientific papers, a discussion of ideas to envisage the new technological challenges of the area.
