Edutech Blockly
Edutech Blockly is an educational programming platform developed to make teaching digital education, programming, robotics, and the Internet of Things simpler, more accessible, and more practical.
The application has a visual programming IDE based on command blocks, allowing students to develop projects and learn programming logic concepts intuitively, even without prior experience with programming languages.
With Edutech Blockly, users can create programs using visual blocks and transfer the code to ESP32 boards.
Program transfer to the ESP32 can be done via USB OTG cable, connecting the Android device directly to the board, or via OTA Bluetooth BLE, allowing wireless transfer in compatible projects.
The platform can be used in educational projects with sensors, LEDs, motors, servomotors, displays, relays, and various other electronic components.
Edutech Blockly was developed to support schools, teachers, students, technology courses, social projects, maker labs, and educational institutions in the practical implementation of digital education.
The platform can be used to teach computational thinking, programming logic, block programming, educational robotics, automation, the Internet of Things, applied electronics, maker projects, sensors, actuators, and ESP32 programming.
Teachers can use the application to develop practical and interactive activities, allowing students to create, program, test, and understand the operation of different technologies.
During the activities, students can learn concepts such as command sequences, conditions, repetitions, variables, mathematical operators, logical operators, digital inputs and outputs, sensor reading, motor control, and Bluetooth BLE communication.
Edutech Blockly can be used in elementary school, high school, technical courses, technology workshops, digital inclusion projects, and introductory programming and robotics activities.
The goal is to transform cell phones and tablets into tools for learning, programming, and technological experimentation, reducing the need for traditional computers in various educational activities.
Through the creation of hands-on projects, students can develop logical reasoning, creativity, autonomy, problem-solving skills, computational thinking, and an interest in science and technology.
