About this app

falatheo is a free Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) app that gives a voice to people who struggle to speak. It works 100% offline, even the voice: tap symbols, build sentences, and falatheo speaks for you, with or without internet.

Built for the daily life of autistic children and adults, people with apraxia, cerebral palsy, or any condition that makes speech hard; and for the families, schools and therapists beside them.

• Phrases: complete sentences in a single tap, grouped by situation — needs, feelings, chat, school, home and fun
• Type: write freely and falatheo speaks, and your most-used phrases come back as one-tap history
• Routines: visual step-by-step sequences that bring predictability to waking up, meals, school and bedtime
• Settings: choose a male or female voice, speech rate, symbol size, light or dark theme, the app colors and haptics

TRULY ACCESSIBLE
Large touch targets, high contrast, and everything read aloud, following accessibility best practices. Available in English and Portuguese.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
No analytics. No ad SDKs. No email, no login. Nothing you tap or type leaves your device.

The voice never dies: if the premium neural voice hasn't been downloaded yet, falatheo instantly falls back to the system voice. A tap is never silent, because the board is someone's voice.
