It just simply doesn't work. It stopped uploading photos a year ago. Today I remembered I had this app and wanted to check if uploading was restored and it wasn't. One thing I noticed though is that this time a toast showed up showing an untreated 503 (service unavailable). This seems to indicate they have a problem with their servers that might be down or under extreme load or maybe the app is using the wrong endpoint to upload content. I would have expected they would have this fixed by now...
