The Geneplus Program of Embrapa is a service technology that assists the designer in the definition, implementation and utilization of genetic resources of his flock in order to maximize their production. The technology has been well defined and is characterized by continuous interaction of the program's technical and assisted farms. The concept is that the improvement of practice does not follow with the genetic evaluation. It is necessary to outline an appropriate work plan and especially apply the results, correcting when necessary.

The summary, presented here, is the result of genetic evaluation by using information of the characteristics related to the production and reproduction of progeny bulls Canchim, obtained from the database of the program conducted in assisted farms. Based on these data, we considered the birth weight (BW), the weight at weaning (PD) and yearling (PS). For all these features, the Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) direct and maternal were estimated. Also included are features called subjective, Conformation Frigorífica scores at weaning (CFD) and Yearling (CFS), Markings on Weaning (LTER) and the Navel Weaning (UMBD). And the features called playback, Scrotal Circumference to Weaning (PED) and Yearling (PES), age at first calving (IPP) and the Second Birth (ISP), and cow weight at weaning (LDCs). For subjective and playback features direct EPDs were estimated.

This application has search capabilities and levels of testing. Also, there is the presentation of data in various formats, such as graphics.
