The Goiano Agriculture Institute (IGA): a force for the countryside and for the producer.
With 242 hectares of experimental fields, the IGA has its objectives focused on the development of highly modern, productive and sustainable agriculture.
The IGA has research results from the main areas of knowledge in agriculture, generating information with the use of biologicals, entomology, weeds, phytotechnics, soils, phytopathology and nematology.
With a laboratory structure, a greenhouse and a biofactory, the IGA develops its studies for soybean, cotton, corn and bean producers. In addition, it has a quality control laboratory for microorganisms used in the biological control of pests and diseases (commercial and "on farm"), an entomology laboratory that performs insecticide toxicology tests, and a nematology laboratory that performs the identification of nematode species and consultancy.
The IGA also performs efficacy testing and partner company products, validating technologies for the producer.
