Ratings and reviews

I used the previous version of the app to listen through the bible while driving semi trucks. This version stops at every chapter if the screen isn't on and the dark mode function doesn't change the font color in any of the menus, so is unusable. It deletes or loses downloaded audio frequently. I don't always have wifi and prefer not to use up my data, but every couple of days, it no longer has anything I downloaded. I'd rather have the old app back, honestly.

Hearing God's Word read in a new way helps me cut through some notions of how a scene unfolded. Some gripes with the app: audio cuts off the end of a chapter to start the next. Avoiding silence is important to an audio drama with background noises and/or music, but it is not more important than hearing every word. Sometimes, after pressing pause, audio will start up randomly if I don't quit the app. The recording: sometimes the music chosen detracts from the gravity of the msg. Thanks

This app definitely needs some updates. You need to be able to go from one chapter to the next without having to download every chapter. It should be a seamless transition whether you're on your phone or not. Also, I noticed at the end of 1 Sam 3 & 4 (so far), it goes into a loud static sound before finishing the actual chapter. Please fix for higher ratings.
