EmergePed — Clinical Decision Making in Pediatric Emergencies.

Designed by physicians, for physicians, nurses, and pharmacists working in pediatric emergencies. EmergePed brings together in a single app everything you need to consult at the bedside when time matters.

What's inside:

▸ Dosage calculator by weight — enter the weight and see the reference dosage (dose, volume, and dilution) of the main drugs, with the scientific source for each. It is a reference to support the professional, not a prescription. Database with more than 80 validated drugs.

▸ Pediatric drug database — presentations, routes, doses by indication, maximum doses, and clinical observations. Validated against PALS, AHA, SBP, NICE, GINA, UpToDate, Cochrane, AAP Red Book, and KDIGO.

▸ Clinical protocols — respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, metabolic, and toxicological. Pocket Algorithms for the On-Call Shift.

▸ Enteral Diet Calculator — NIV and intubated, 24h, 18h+pause, and 3/3h bolus modes. Volume and rate calculated by weight.

▸ Procedure Library — RSI, mechanical ventilation, NIV, high flow, intraosseous access, and more.

▸ EVA — Clinical Virtual Assistant — AI-based decision support system, powered by up-to-date scientific evidence. Compliant with CFM (Brazilian Federal Council of Medicine) guidelines on AI in medicine: a collaborative tool, never an autonomous decision-making tool.

How the content is validated:
All doses and protocols undergo supervised clinical review before being included in the app. Each piece of information is cross-referenced with at least two recognized scientific sources. Maximum doses, contraindications, and critical warnings are explicitly indicated.
