Rocinante Maps Lite

Casa Buendia

About this app

Rocinante Maps Lite is the lightweight version of Rocinante Maps: it takes up less than 2 MB and shows, on the map, the support points for travelers — campsites, overnight stays, gas stations, water, waste disposal, LPG, mechanics, restrooms, and more than 30 categories.

WHAT IT DOES
• Map with community locations and their GPS position.

• Information sheet for each place with photos, reviews, amenities, and distance to you.

• Search by city, address, or location.

• Filter by type of place, rating, date of last review, and what the place offers.

• Favorites, reviews, check-in, and new place registration — the same as your account in the full app and on the website.

• Community trails to view on the map.

TRULY LIGHTWEIGHT
• Less than 2 MB to download, for simple phones or those with limited memory.

• No ads and no trackers.

• An account is optional: the map and locations work without registration.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
This version does not include voice navigation, offline map download, or trail recording. If you want these features, install the full Rocinante Maps version.

BUILT ON OPENSTREETMAP
The maps come from OpenStreetMap, the free map built by millions of people.
