TchêFone VoIP is a softphone application for Android that allows you to make and receive calls using SIP extensions, using accounts configured manually or provided by the company's or institution's telephone exchange.
The application was developed to facilitate the use of VoIP telephony on mobile devices, with a simple interface to manage extensions, monitor connection status, access contacts, and make calls using the integrated dialer.
When integrated with the telephone exchange, TchêFone VoIP can automatically search for the user's extensions, provide the PBX's directory, and improve background call reception through push notifications, when this feature is enabled by the institution.
The app also offers operating modes to balance availability and battery saving. In Always Connected mode, the SIP service remains active to prioritize the immediate reception of calls. In Battery Saver mode, the application reduces background activity and may rely on the exchange's push notification mechanism to wake the app when a call is received.
Main Features:
• Manual SIP extension registration
• Access to extensions provided by the telephone exchange
• Integrated dialer
• Telephone contact list
• PABX contact list, when enabled
• History of calls made, received, and missed
• Extension registration status
• Support for incoming calls in the background
• Integration with Android notifications
• Always-on and Battery Saver modes
• Support for push notifications, when available on the exchange
• Sound, vibration, and ring volume settings
• Manual backup and restore of SIP accounts
• Speakerphone and call mute options
TchêFone VoIP depends on the SIP connection information provided by the user, company, or institution. For use with corporate exchanges, valid credentials and configuration provided by the responsible organization may be required.
The availability of features such as automatic extensions, PABX directory, and push notifications depends on integration with the telephone exchange used.
