About this app

VIVASENSE Config is the official application for configuring and maintaining VIVASENSE IoT sensors. Developed for field technicians and installers, the app offers complete access to the device via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi, without the need for cables or additional equipment.

MAIN FEATURES

▸ Automatic Bluetooth Scan
Detects all nearby VIVASENSE devices in up to 10 seconds, displaying name, MAC address, and signal strength (RSSI) in real time.

▸ Live Sensor Dashboard
After connecting via BLE, instantly view the data transmitted by the sensor:

• Unique device ID

• Installed firmware version

• Gross distance (cm)

• Filtered distance (m)

• Average readings (m)
Values ​​are automatically updated every 2 seconds.

▸ OTA Firmware Update via WiFi
With a single authenticated command, the app instructs the ESP32 to activate its WiFi access point (AP). The application then automatically connects to this network and opens the device's embedded web interface, where the technician can perform firmware updates (OTA) and advanced configuration adjustments — without needing a computer.

▸ Support for Multiple Devices
Manage as many VIVASENSE sensors as needed in the same technical visit, switching between devices quickly and securely.

The VIVASENSE Config is a tool exclusively for VIVASENSE customers and authorized technicians. Access to VIVASENSE devices and activation credentials provided by VIVATEK are required.
