About this app

The IDH Leite app is a digital tool for environmental diagnosis and monitoring for dairy farms. After user registration, the app collects farm data organized into five blocks (access data; farm/herd/system characterization; water quantity; water quality; manure management) and, based on the responses, automatically calculates the Water Performance Index (HDI) — overall and by dimension, Water Quantity, Water Quality, and Manure Management.
Based on the score obtained, the app:

(i) Identifies environmental weaknesses related to water use and manure management;

(ii) Suggests good environmental improvement practices for each indicator evaluated;

(iii) Stores the history of evaluations, allowing you to track the evolution of farm performance over time;

(iv) Generates a PDF report with the results.

The app works offline for data entry in the field, synchronizing the calculation and history in the cloud when there is an internet connection. This applies only to dairy farms that wash the milking parlor at least once a day.
