About this app

StopVerme is an application developed to guide farmers, veterinarians, and students in quickly and conveniently identifying worms in sheep.
Using just a photo of the animal's ocular mucosa, the app analyzes the color of the ocular mucosa and indicates the sheep's health condition, informing whether it has worms or not. Based on the FAMACHA method and a learning model widely used in livestock management, it is possible to monitor animal health, improve worm control, and reduce production losses in the field.
The application was developed using computer vision technology, offering automatic and intuitive results without the need for complex equipment.
