The Map of Racism and Religious Intolerance application was conceived as a channel of denunciations between the society and the Public Ministry of the State of Bahia.
With this application, any citizen can register reports of racial, ethnic or religious discrimination, consult the map of racism in Bahia and request information about the institution.
According to article 140 of paragraph 3 of the Brazilian Penal Code, offending the honor of any person with the use of elements related to race, color, ethnicity, religion or origin may result in criminal prosecution for racial injury. Complaints may be made to the MPBA about any racial offense. Racism is a crime provided for by Law 7.716 / 89 and should always be denounced.
