The Renewed Presbyterian Church of Brazil (IPRB) was born at the height of the spiritual revival that began in the Presbyterian milieu in the 60's. This revival was characterized by an intense desire to know more about the Word of God, with an emphasis on the study of a doctrine of the Holy Spirit and a desire to consecrate himself more to Jesus through the practice of the life of prayer, the ardent preaching of the Gospel and the separation of worldly customs.
