Designed for athletes, coaches, personal trainers and sport scientist involved with martial arts and combat sport modalities.

This app helps you to identify in a specific form your reaction time in visual stimulus. TReaction offers you a precise measure of your motor response to different kicks and punch techniques used in martial arts and combat sports such as Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Taekwondo and Kickboxing.

TReaction capture and provide it in milliseconds the time you take to reach a punching bag or a pad with your strikers after a visual stimulus.

The Reaction Time or Response Time (RT) is an important variable to any combat sports and martial arts especially in visual stimulus. RT can be defined as the time interval between to show a no-anticipated stimulus and the required time to realize the movement after stimulus. In combat sports and martial arts the RT can be defined as the time interval that the athlete takes to came a stimulus and the response to target taking a hit. It represent too a total time that a individual take to make decision and start the action. Therefore it shows a measure of speed indicator in the information processing. It is one of the most important measure in the human capacity in different situations.

TReaction helps you in the elaboration and control program training, where you can take a training program to develop your RT. With this App you can determine program training to measure and improve you RT in different kicks and punching techniques.

Technique to Different Martial Arts and Combat Sports:

• Boxing
• Karate
• Taekwondo
• Muay Thai
• Kickboxing

System Features:

• reaction time of kicks (RTK)
• reaction time of punchs (RTP
• visual stimulus
• captures the response time in different materials (punching bag, knocker, etc.)

The TReaction App has been undergone validation tests performed at the Biomechanics Laboratory of the Federal University of Santa Catarina and presents a Typical Error of Measurement of 1.4% (9.4ms) in relation to the measurement performed with high-speed camera with sampling frequency of 1000 frames per second.
