About this app

The SimTec event originated from an initiative of Unicamp professionals themselves, with the purpose of providing an institutional space for the presentation of work developed by technical and administrative staff in the areas of teaching, research, extension, innovation, and management.

Thus, the event allows for the sharing of results from the work of PAEPE staff and promotes the exchange of experiences and successful practices, in addition to valuing and recognizing the technical and scientific knowledge of Unicamp professionals.

The first edition took place in 1997, and the event has become established as a biennial event, with the presentation of hundreds of actions and projects, creating an institutional and professional channel between support activities and core activities.

The adoption of central and interdisciplinary themes helped in this consolidation by allowing the discussion of trends and experiences developed at the University.

Therefore, the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the various Units and Bodies took the effective form of disseminating the work carried out in the various workplaces.
