Kuzu Help is a mobile app for Android and iPhone that helps people in Bhutan find trusted
local workers, such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, appliance repairers, painters
and masons, in their own dzongkhag. Customers choose a service and their dzongkhag, then
see a list of workers with their ratings, prices and years of experience, and can show
only the workers who are available now. On a worker's page they can read reviews, look at
photos of past work, call or WhatsApp the worker directly, send a job request that says
what needs doing, where and when, save the worker for later, and leave a review once they
have been in touch. Workers sign up, set up a profile with the services they offer and
their prices, and upload their CID and a certificate. An admin checks these documents and
approves or rejects the worker, and only approved workers are shown to customers. Once
approved, workers run everything from their dashboard: they switch their availability on
or off, accept or decline job requests, reply to reviews and add up to 12 photos of their
work. Admins also read the reports customers send about workers and can deactivate
accounts that break the rules. Every important step, such as a new job request, an
approval or a new review, sends an in-app notification and, once set up, a push
notification to the person's phone, so customers, workers and admins always know what has
changed.
