About this app

RF Scanner is a professional tool for signals intelligence (SIGINT) and technical surveillance counter-measures (TSCM), designed for cybersecurity engineers and privacy professionals. This application transforms your Android smartphone into a multi-functional hidden threat locator, allowing you to squeeze the maximum out of the device's built-in sensors and integrate full-scale external software-defined radio hardware.

The application is divided into three independent physical modules for aether analysis:

1. Acoustic & Ultrasonic Spectrum Analyzer

Protect your digital environment from hidden cross-device tracking (Ultrasound Tracking). Utilizing high-frequency raw PCM data capture without OS-level audio filtering, the app analyzes the acoustic spectrum in real-time.

• High Performance: Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) powered by low-level C++ via Android NDK.
• Horizontal Waterfall View: Panoramic frequency visualization with intelligent color zoning.
• Four Control Zones: Infrasound (0-300 Hz), Speech Corridor (0.3-4 kHz) to detect hidden microphones, HF Electronics Noise (4-18.5 kHz), and the Ultrasonic Barrier (18.5-24 kHz) for instant detection of hidden tracking beacons and acoustic microphone jammers.

2. Electromagnetic Anomaly Locator (EMF Radar)

Detect hidden live wiring, power cables, transformers, and inductor coils of spy bugs hidden inside walls, power outlets, or furniture.

• Adaptive High-Pass Filter (HPF): Eliminates the Earth's natural static magnetic field, isolating only artificial alternating electronic interference.
• Two-Factor Threat Analysis: An intelligent algorithm separates dynamic fluctuations during movement (cable hunting) from massive static fields (speaker magnets of spy devices).
• Audio Clicker (Geiger Effect): A low-level audio synthesizer that generates clicks that speed up as you get closer to the field source, allowing for blind scanning.

3. External SDR Radio Scanner (USB OTG)

Turn your smartphone into a complete panoramic wideband radio receiver from 24 MHz to 1.7 GHz (by connecting an external RTL-SDR or HackRF USB dongle via the Android USB Host API).

• Native IQ Pipeline: Asynchronous Bulk packet retrieval via ioctl directly from the Linux kernel USB bus.
• Radio Waterfall: Captures data packets, car key fobs (433/868 MHz), walkie-talkies, and analog radio transmitters.
• Simulation Mode: Built-in mathematical generator of white noise and Gaussian radio bursts to test the interface and learn radio analysis without connected hardware.

The application is completely autonomous, optimized for minimal battery consumption, contains no bloated third-party libraries, and maintains an ultra-compact file size. Take scientific control over the radio environment around you!
