I was very excited to try this game, yet once I started playing it I was disappointed almost instantly. I read some other reviews and saw that perhaps having a newer phone/device would help. I have a s9plus and yet on multiple attempts to play the game I sit waiting for the AI is "thinking" for 10 minutes and nothing happening. I really hope something could be done to fix this. I look forward to giving this great game concept a second chance.

This game has great potential but it's either not supported anymore, or the developers are no longer interested in updating it. There are quite a few game breaking bugs. One of the most important of them being that if the AI Defense has to move but is unable to do so due to the regular copenhagen rules, the client simply crashes. (ex. surround all defensive pieces without leaving ANY free squares for the defense to move to, in this case, the attacker wins, in this game, it just crashes) Another AI issue existing is that if the AI Defense has successfully created enough space for the king to move, they will prioritize moving the king even if it's just inside three square with no purpose, letting you as the attacker, take pretty much as many free turns as you want. Another AI issue existing is, well, you know how moving the same piece multiple times to the same spots will eventually kill it? Well, if you end up moving the same piece three times towards the same spots but ALSO end up taking an opponent piece in the last (suicide) move, the AI simply does not understand what happened and the it just sits there in limbo, making the user to HAVE to restart the match and avoid getting into such situations in the future. These bugs exist for almost a year now. The interface is great, the atmosphere is awesome, the effects are magnificent, but the project is probably abandoned. (also, it does not support the "shield wall" rule from the copenhagen rules)

Unbelievable graphics and art in general! The atmosphere of the game with the music, rain and thunder when capturing pieces, I feel like I'm inside that viking ship playing for real! Hope to see an update and more people finding this gem!
