Hold your phone over a receipt and BrokerBooks finds the edges and captures it on its own. You don't have to line anything up or press a shutter button. Check that the details it pulled are right, and it's filed.
BrokerBooks is bookkeeping for self-employed people who never set out to be bookkeepers: realtors, mortgage agents, home inspectors, insurance brokers, appraisers, consultants, contractors, freelancers and drivers. It tracks your HST as you go and gives you clear reports you can hand straight to your accountant.
That's the whole pitch. No data entry, no spreadsheets, and no shoebox under the desk in March.

Auto-capture scanning. Point your phone at a receipt and it detects the borders and snaps on its own. The AI reads the vendor, date, total and tax, and you just confirm it.
One clean ledger for income and expenses. Categorize as you go, then search by vendor, date or category whenever you need to find something again.
Mileage, logged as you go. Record each trip and see your business-use percentage automatically, ready for your accountant at year end.
