DoseBell helps adults and caregivers create dependable medication schedules without creating an account or uploading medication information to a DoseBell server.

REMINDERS BUILT FOR ANDROID

Create daily, selected-day, every-N-day, every-N-hour, cycle, or as-needed schedules. Add several reminder times, optional start and stop dates, and a photo of the medication label. DoseBell uses Android alarm functionality for precise, user-created reminders and clearly warns when required permissions are unavailable.

SEE WHAT HAPPENED

Delivery receipts record when Android fired a scheduled alarm, its latency, acknowledgement time, and relevant battery state. The Reliability Center turns those receipts into an inspectable 30-day score and provides device-specific troubleshooting. A receipt proves that an alarm fired; it does not prove that medication was taken.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Medication names, schedules, photos, history, settings, and delivery receipts stay in DoseBell’s private storage unless you explicitly export them. There are no ads or analytics SDKs. Core schedules and reminders work offline. Google Play connectivity is used only for Care Pack purchase and restoration.

What’s new

Medication entry is now simpler and more reliable: enter the medication name and strength directly. The experimental label scanner and camera permission have been removed. Reliability test alarms now start immediately, while Care Pack purchase protection remains in place.
