*You may incur service charges for various online services depending on the type of account you have. In addition, your mobile carrier may charge you for using your mobile device to access the services provided by our Mobile App.

ACCESS

Valley First is a division of First West Credit Union. Access is available to all members who currently use our online banking service. If you're not a First West Credit Union member, no problem—simply visit join.valleyfirst.com to set up a new membership and you'll get access as soon as your account is approved.

PERMISSIONS

In order to use the Valley First Mobile App, you'll need to grant our app permission to access certain functions on your mobile phone, including:

• Full network access – Allows our app to connect to the Internet.
• Approximate location – Find our nearest branch or 'ding-free' ATM by allowing our app to access your phone's GPS.
• Take pictures and videos – Deposit cheques using Deposit Anywhere™ right from your mobile phone by allowing our app access to your phone camera.
• Access to your phone contacts – Get the utmost in convenience by allowing our app to access your list of contacts, that way you can send an Interac® e-Transfer to someone on your contact list without manually setting them up as a recipient in mobile banking.
Depending on your operating system, these permissions may be worded differently on your Android™ phone.

Use of the Mobile App is subject to the terms and conditions found in our First West Credit Union Account Access Agreement for both personal and business accounts.

Ever since the last update, the app doesn't work AT ALL - None of the main buttons on the front menu work, except the "Rates" one that jumps me to a browser, the "Contact Us" one that provides thier contact info, and the "Calculator" one. The orange "Login" button is also broken, and the buttons in the top = menu are the same. So I can't login to my bank account unless I go online. VERY FRUSTRATING as I've banked here for years and they just started charging an account fee, for less service!! :(

Since the last update, I can't even open the app. It keeps telling me to update my quick view settings, then gives an error about the account name, and then won't give the option to change the account name. If I try to bypass this and click on accounts, it sends me back to the login for an endless groundhog day loop of trying to sign in. Very frustrating!! I did like the app when I could actually log in.

It's 50/50 as to whether the app will work for me. I frequently get a message that there's an error, please try again later. things can't be displayed, etc. I only use it when I have to because unless it's something very simple like checking my balance, it will end up taking a lot longer than necessary. It is frustrating because I prefer to do the majority of my banking on the app but I get upset when I use it. I hope they make some improvements.
