GrainSolution turns the shoebox of paper grain tickets in your truck into a clean export your accountant will actually thank you for. Snap a photo of any ticket — Richardson, Viterra, P&H, Paterson, Cargill, G3, or any other elevator — and GrainSolution reads it for you. Elevator, ticket number, date, commodity, grade, weights, bushels, dockage, moisture, price, dollars — all parsed and ready to review in seconds.
Built for the way prairie farming actually works: one-handed in the combine cab, dusty hands, spotty rural LTE, and zero patience for menus.
WHAT IT DOES:
• Capture a ticket — photo, gallery, PDF, or share-sheet from email. The app reads the ticket in the background while you keep working.
• Review and edit — every parsed field is a tap away from being corrected. Low-confidence fields are flagged amber so you know what to double-check.
• Tag tickets to fields — drop a polygon on your land or walk the perimeter with GPS. Tickets you've tagged roll up into per-field production totals.
• Live commodity prices — Canola, HRS Wheat, Durum, Soybeans, Oats — front-month + futures curve + interactive 30-day chart with Line/Candle toggle. Refreshes every minute.
• Per-field weather — current conditions plus a 7-day forecast with spray-window classification (safe / marginal / unsafe) based on wind and precip. Open-Meteo + GEM model coverage tuned for the prairies.
• Growing-degree days — accumulated GDD since planting, with crop-specific base temperatures and milestone hints (flowering, heading, maturity).
• Crop rotation history — multi-year planting timeline per field. Surfaces back-to-back same-crop years before they hurt yield.
• Field sharing — send a quarter-section preview to a buddy or agronomist. Recipients get a read-only copy; revoke any time.
• Year-end export — clean CSV and XLSX with every field your accountant needs. Open the share sheet, send it straight to email or Files.
PRIVACY POSTURE:
• Your data is yours. Encrypted in transit, stored in a Canadian-hosted Supabase project.
• Account deletion lives inside the app — Settings → Delete account → done. Or use grainsolution.ca/delete-account.
• Photos are processed for parsing only, never used to train models.
• No ads. No selling data. No third-party tracking beyond standard analytics for product improvement.
MADE FOR PRAIRIE FARMERS:
Built in Canada, for Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. The crop list, units (bushels and tonnes), DLS legal-description picker, and weather model are all tuned for prairie conditions. Not a generic farm app retrofitted for grain — designed from the first sketch around the grain-ticket workflow.
WHO IT'S FOR:
If you've ever piled tickets in a shoebox, glove compartment, or kitchen drawer and then paid your accountant to key them in at year-end, GrainSolution was built for you. Average farm: 1,500–5,000 acres, mixed canola/wheat/peas/soybeans, one or two combines, 2–4 elevators within an hour of the farm gate.
QUESTIONS:
Email support@grainsolution.ca or use grainsolution.ca/contact. We read everything and reply personally, usually within one business day.
Grain tickets, solved.
