Speed up approvals and simplify interactions with people and participating businesses, and organizations. The Interac Verified app is a tool for Canadians, enabling you to manage and share your information securely and easily from your smartphone. You will be able to store multiple credentials from different issuers in this app. To get started, Interac Verified will be able to issue your first credential exclusively to the Interac Verified app. Interac Verified credentials will be available to you once you have successfully verified your identity in the app.

The following essential documents are supported: Canadian driver's licenses, passports (Canadian issued and select foreign passports), provincial ID cards (excluding Quebec), permanent resident cards, and Indian Status Cards.

Activate your secure credential in three easy steps:

1. Sign-in through the app to your Canadian bank account with a participating financial institution. This is your first step towards identity verification.

2. Take a photo of your accepted form of identity document and a video selfie. These steps are crucial for confirming that the information on your document matches your current appearance.

3. Once verified, your credential can be securely stored in the Interac Verified app. You can then use this credential, to help ensure your interactions are secure and your identity is protected.
