About this app
J'aime Évaluer is a free digital media library dedicated to assessment practices in schools. Developed by the EVADID research team at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), the application provides videos, podcasts, and educational infographics to support the professional judgment of teachers, teacher trainers, and education students.
WHO IS IT FOR?
• Elementary, secondary, and college teachers

SIX CATEGORIES, A COMPLETE ASSESSMENT CYCLE
The application is organized around the key steps of the assessment process:
• Professional Judgment — Definition, stakeholders, process, and risks (subjectivity, cognitive biases)
• Planning — Designing an assessment approach aligned with the learning objectives
• Data Collection — Methods and tools for gathering evidence of learning
• Interpretation — Making sense of the data collected
• Feedback — Effectively communicating results to students
• Communication — Disseminating and sharing assessment results
RICH AND VARIED CONTENT
• Videos hosted on Panopto, instant playback
• Streaming audio podcasts
• Zoomable high-definition infographics (PNG, SVG, JPEG)
• Subject-based filtering in selected categories: French, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, Ethics and Religious Culture
• Automatic saving of reading progress — pick up where you left off
• Toggle Theory/Practice to explore professional judgment from two perspectives
• Bibliography associated with each section for further reading
• Integrated FAQ, regularly updated

EVADID is a research team in assessment and didactics affiliated with the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. Under the direction of Professor Nicole Monney, its mission is to support the continuing professional development of teachers and to disseminate research findings in assessment of learning.
