About this app

Keytora is the inventory and job book built for locksmiths — not a generic warehouse app bent into shape.

Track key blanks, transponders, FOBs, cylinders, hardware and tools across your shop and every van. Scan a barcode with the phone you already carry, book the job, and let the stock come off the count when the work is done.

BUILT AROUND HOW LOCKSMITHS ACTUALLY WORK
• Automotive, Residential and Commercial folders ready on day one
• Locksmith fields out of the box: blank type, vehicle make, year range, transponder chip, FCC ID, key code, OEM or aftermarket
• Shop and van locations, so "do we have one?" has a real answer
• Key issue log — record which key went to which customer
• VIN lookup with suggested key blanks

SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPE
• Barcode and QR scanning with the phone camera
• Continuous mode for counting a shelf or restocking a van
• Printable QR label sheets for bins, drawers and cases
• Works offline — scans and edits sync when you get signal again

JOBS THAT MOVE YOUR STOCK
• Create a customer job, add the parts used, complete it
• Stock is deducted automatically on completion — no second data entry
• Capture the customer's signature on the tech's phone
• Assign jobs to techs and keep each tech scoped to their own work

KNOW BEFORE YOU RUN OUT
• Low-stock alerts against a minimum you set per item
• Expiry and maintenance date reminders
• Reorder list, dead-stock report and inventory value totals
• CSV export for your accountant

YOUR TEAM, YOUR RULES
• Invite techs, managers and admins
• Custom roles with per-permission control
• Every change is written to an audit trail

What’s new

• After trying the sample items, Keytora points you straight to adding your own first item.
• Signing in with Google or Apple on a phone you used before no longer creates an empty second account.
• Picking a fob with no known frequency no longer blocks saving; frequency accepts "315 MHz".
• Counts accept decimal commas (3,5). The "−" button is disabled at 0 in stock.
• More messages appear in your language.
