Most book apps feel like spreadsheets. LitList doesn't.

It started as a personal project... A way to finally have one place for every book, every reading thought, every quote that stopped you mid-page. Something that actually felt like your reading life, not a productivity tool wearing a library costume.

📚 Your whole library, finally in one place
Physical books tracked by page. Ebooks by percentage. Audiobooks by hours listened. Scan a book's barcode to add it in seconds... or keep scanning to add a whole stack one after another, then review the full list before you confirm. You can also import your entire reading history from a standard CSV file — shelves, ratings, and read dates... in about two minutes.

✍️ A journal that actually lives with your books
Write entries as you read. Capture quotes before you forget them. Your journal is private by default — it's never shared with other users, never sold, never used to train anything. It's yours.

🔮 Recommendations that know your taste
Book picks built from what you've actually read and rated. Not a bestseller list. Not sponsored. Just books you're genuinely likely to love, based on your history.

Set a yearly reading goal and a daily minutes target. Watch your streak build. It's more motivating than it has any right to be.

Browse by genre, mood, or theme — or use AI-powered search to describe what you're in the mood for and let LitList find it. ("Something like The Name of the Wind but darker" actually works.)

Rate the spice, tag the tropes, leave a star rating, and write a review you can keep private or share with friends. Your library becomes searchable by the things you actually care about.

Create reading profiles for your kids under your account. Track their books and milestones together. No independent child accounts, no ads shown to children, ever.

📅 Series tracking and library due dates
Always know where you are in a series and what's coming next. Track library return dates so you never pay a fine because you forgot a book was due back.

👥 Friends and buddy reads
Follow friends, see what they're reading, and do buddy reads together — sharing reactions in real time as you both work through the same book.
