Northy connects Canadian homeowners with local pros for the work around the house you would rather not do yourself. Plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, painting, handyman jobs and more.

Snap a photo of the problem and Northy writes the job for you: category, title and description, from the picture. Edit it, or dictate it.

How it works

1. Post your job with photos and a few details.
2. Get quotes from local pros, or browse and choose a pro yourself.
3. Compare ratings, reviews and prices, then hire.
4. Message your pro, follow the job and pay by card in the app.

For homeowners
Describe the job, receive real quotes, and pick the pro that fits. See ratings, reviews and past work before you decide. You pay by card in the app when you accept a quote. The pro is paid when you confirm the work is done, or automatically 48 hours after they mark it finished if you report no problem.

For pros
Grow your business with job leads in your area. Send quotes, manage your calendar, track your hours and get paid to your bank account. Set your own coverage area and rates. No subscription, and no commission today.

What’s new

Everyone: signing in again after an unfinished sign-up now takes you straight to the right screen, and the Resend button never shows an error while it is only asking you to wait.
