Ratings and reviews

I mean, it's definitely a pocket mine game, but it feels like a downgrade from the other two. The monsters are just kind of annoying, They didn't need to be added at all. Even though my favorite is the first game, the second game even feels better than this one. It just feels like the original vision of pocket mine has been lost at this point. The first pocket mine had a sort of arcade feel, no levels, just various maps, and you mine until your pickaxe runs out of power. Not bad but meh.

I hate how this game rushes you. Each round, you have limited digs (about 50, depending on loadout and rock strength), but if you don't dig fast enough, the screen passes you and you lose. And effects (like rockets and drills) take time, so if you wait for the smoke to clear, you have about a tenth of a second to dig again. Drop your phone? Congrats, you lost the game. Want to try again? Too bad, it'll take an hour for your energy to refill. But it's not all bad. At least there's customization.

Normally I don't rate games but this one is pretty amazing. The chain reactions make a huge difference in game play along with you don't find your self wanting to buy rubies for anything extra. Though once you start getting into the added maps or the daily you start running out of energy a lot faster because they require more then 1 a normal game eats up. But the ads don't pop up nearly as often on some other games which I truly enjoy. You only watch them when and if you want to.
