The Taxi Coop mobile application is the easiest and most efficient way to order a taxi in your city! Provided for free by the largest taxi company in Quebec, the application allows you to order a taxi in just a few taps.

The process is as simple as can be: launch the application and it immediately localizes your position. Confirm that the address identified is the correct one; if it isn’t, you are free to change it manually. Add notes if necessary, choose the method of payment and place your order. A cab will be assigned to you quickly and, in the meantime, you can track it making its way towards you on the mobile application’s map. Finally, a notification will be sent once the taxi is less than a mile from your location.

Ratings and reviews

Not all drivers are used to it for payment, it would be nice to train them. The "notes" section isn't visible enough for drivers, which can lead to misunderstandings. It would be nice to have a way to communicate with the driver or update your pickup location for when you're in a shopping centre's parking lot and you realize you picked a bad spot and you want to make things easier for the driver.

I had drivers fake picking me up, then drive elsewhere without cancelling rides. Users have no way to cancel the ride, so the app was stuck on "Follow" mode, which didn't allow me to order another taxi. Each time I add the destination address, it changes the address of the starting location, so I have to correct each time to avoid the taxi arriving at the wrong address. I've had taxi drivers arrive at the wrong destination and wait, had to cancel. I have stopped using this frustrating app.

Very practical and very useful! I went to sherbrooke by bus. On the road I booked a taxi, as result I arrived to my appointment on time! I highly recommend. My suggestion is if it's possible to move the cancel command from the current location at the bottom of the screen, this may cause users to cancel by mistake.
