This app is a one-stop-shop for Surrey residents that will include existing mobile apps from the City like Rethink Waste and Surrey Request, as well as introduce new services.
This app is the first of its kind for municipalities in BC. Features include:
•Job, Event and News listings
•Youth-friendly listings of the closest skate parks, youth centres, pools and arenas
•Location of the closest libraries, off-lease dog parks, tennis courts, water parks, arenas with information including hours of operation and features available at that location
•Ability to easily add city events to their smartphone calendar and share city events and news stories over email or social media.

The surrey request app was far easier to use. Why did the city 'upgrade' to an app that is not as user friendly? Fix your map system when making a service request. For example a CURRENT LOCATION would be really helpful...

This app doesn't need to exist. Most of the buttons go to the Play store to install a diffeet app and others go to a web page in the app. This should really just be a web utility on the surrey website. All I wanted was recycling information and I had to download a different app.

Piece of garbage. Old app (Surrey Request) much easier and it worked. Using new app to request a service, it opens a new tab in my browser... The history tab. This is Android. Also the map is pathetic. I guess this is the Surrey way to not have work to do. Annoy people so they do not use the app. Then say all in the city fine as we have no reported situations. Must be a Major McDougy idea. (garbage dumped). Oh and interesting how the 5 star ratings below predate the actual app release date.
