The greatest app for searching temp shift positions in dental. I've supplemented my random days off with shifts through this app. The TempStars team is unbelievably supportive, they often reach out and follow up. Address any concerns in the most caring manner, makes you feel like a valued member of the dental community. Booking shifts is easy through the calendar selection, I love the wage selection option, and normally fast e-transfer pay after end of shift once invoice is submitted.

If you get a negative review from an office, anything below 5.0 stars, you're punished. The app does not inform you of why they put your account on hold just that it is. They don't show you the review. They say they will respond to you ASAP by email and they don't. They are for the dentists exclusively. Example, I showed up to a shift at an office that did not have the necessary PPE I need to legally to do my job as a dental hygienist. I refused to do the shift and I was suspended.

Fairly good app. Few things could be added for a better experience- increase the upper pay limit to about 45ish. I know a few people who get paid in the forties. 2- There should be some data on how many shifts were cancelled by employer after confirming a booking like uber has for their drivers. Don't think the current way affects anyway those who cancel. 3- I see many ads still on even past the start time. Possibly office booked another person thru other means.
